Features, Reviews and Profiles
An experienced freelance arts journalist, I write for publications including The Guardian, CRACK, The Scotsman, The Observer, Dazed Digital, The Stage, FEST, The Skinny, Exeunt, Culture Trip, Q and many more. I specialise in music, live performance and creative technologies, and won the Allen Wright Award for feature writing at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe. I have also written creative copy for clients including Sneaky Pete’s and Ticketswap, and artist bios for musicians ranging from DIY jazz bands to major label rising stars.
Radio & Special Events
I co-host and co-produce the EHFM Culture Show, the flagship arts show on Edinburgh’s independent radio station. In 2022, the Culture Show collaborated with Hidden Door and the Edinburgh International Festival. As a judge and/or nominator, I have contributed to awards including the Scottish Album of the Year, SAMA Best Newcomer, the BRIT Awards, the BRIT Rising Star, and the Scotsman Fringe First.
